The war over DRM is heating up, Apple in the cross-hairs.

A good number of European countries and consumer advocate groups are fighting proprietary schemes that some are calling “Defective by Design.” Apple is fighting back calling plans to force it to allow interoperability “state-sponsored piracy,” and has threatened to pull out of the French market.
